Zaeera – The Band is our indie pop-rock band. In this lineup, we've already played several gigs in 2025 while simultaneously working on our first album. ZAEERA – The Band's music is a blend of powerful guitars, catchy melodies, and emotional stories. The sound is versatile, ranging from energetic riffs and memorable hooks to gentle, soulful harmonies. In each song, the Swiss band's frontwoman tells stories from real life, touching listeners with her distinctive voice. Her lyrics explore themes of love and heartbreak, toxic relationships, and the yearning for freedom. With our music, we want to connect with people on an emotional level – giving them space to reflect on and process their own experiences and feel truly alive. Our goal is to forge a deep connection with our audience and create moving moments: whether through contemplation and reflection or through dancing, celebrating, and living in the present moment. We've currently worked on five or six demo songs, which we've already had the pleasure of performing live several times. We're currently working on professionally producing these songs and releasing them gradually. Our goal is to release the complete EP in 2026. We're incredibly excited to take you on this emotional rollercoaster ride with our music.

ZAEERA - JUST HER - Pop
Zaeera – just her is the solo project of our frontwoman Zaeera – pop music that is distinctly different from the band's sound. Emotion, clarity, and intimacy take center stage: The songs are mostly electronic, often piano-driven, with delicate, dreamy arrangements and a stripped-down, clear sound that gives the voice space to convey every nuance. In contrast to ZAEERA – The Band, "just her" is less about rocking guitars or dense instrumentals, and more about soulful pop music with electronic elements, gentle beats, and atmospheric textures. The voice is deliberately placed at the forefront – the melodies are emotional, sometimes tender, sometimes uplifting, creating a soundscape that is both thought-provoking and deeply moving, with dreamy, often acoustic or subtle electronic touches. Unlike ZAEERA – The Band, "just her" focuses less on rocking guitars or dense instrumentals, and more on soulful pop music with electronic elements, gentle beats, and atmospheric textures. An example of the project's sound is the song "Feeling," released in 2021, as well as the cover of "Killer Queen – Zaeera" (2023). Both already showcase the vibe of "just her": calm, soulful pop that puts the voice front and center, leaving room for intimacy and emotion.

About the Swiss band ZAEERA (The Band)
The Swiss band "Zaeera - The Band" composes its own songs, which consist of a mixture of pop and rock.
The band is currently working on an album.
"As Swiss musicians, we love composing and writing songs and meet regularly for band rehearsals. We currently have 5-6 songs prepared. We want to inspire, touch, and captivate with our music. The first step, in addition to upcoming gigs and digital live music, is to release our songs as an EP."
ABOUT THE SINGER:
"I was born into a musical family and was already singing along loudly to songs on the radio as a child. My father plays electric bass and electric guitar and had a band back in the analog age, with whom he played gigs. His mother was a very talented pianist. She loved playing her piano and passed her skills on to my uncle." My motivation: "My maternal grandmother always encouraged me to be more confident and to sing from the age of 10 – her wish was that I would never give up on my dream and would fight for it. For this reason, and with my love of music, I always hold on to it. I want to make my grandmother proud – she's watching over me from heaven – when I sing, I always sing for her too." ABOUT THE BAND:
Each of us has a musical background in our family and grew up surrounded by music. For example, our lead electric guitarist takes after his father, who has also been one with his guitar for decades. Our drummer experiments with all kinds of drums, djembes, and cajons, bringing color and the perfect rhythm to our songs.
WHAT DOES THE NAME ZAEERA STAND FOR:
The name Zaeera stands for both "Zaeera – The Band" and "Zaeera – Just Her." Since Zaeera wrote her own pop songs before forming the band and doesn't want to abandon this creative aspect, while also pursuing the band project in a rockier style, the name was deliberately divided into these two categories.
WHAT WOULD ZAEERA DO WITHOUT HIM?
The band's singer has been writing lyrics for several years now, but creating a band song wouldn't be possible without guitarist Dani's chord progressions. Therefore, she'd like to express her special thanks to him – "What would I do without you?" He would probably say that, besides the vocals, it wouldn't work for him without the drummer – and the drummer would add that it wouldn't be half as cool without the second guitarist and a bassline – and so on :D That's why she wants to add that, of course, every single member of the Swiss band is just as important, and she wants to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone! "Without you, it wouldn't have come this far, and I'm so grateful to be able to make music with you."
